ABOUT US
The Ice Den Chandler, located just east of the I-10 off Ray Road, was acquired by Coyotes Ice, LLC in 2014 to expand the reach of Ice Den programming to the southeast valley.
The two (2) sheet facility underwent an immediate multi-million dollar renovation to allow for the facility to compliment the Ice Den Scottsdale and provide the same high quality hockey and figure skating programming to the community.
Participants as young as 2½, can take their second first steps in our nationally recognized Learn to Skate program, which provides the foundation for an ice sport journey into hockey or figure skating.
Hockey programs focus on player development starting with Pre-Hockey, followed by the Initiation Program, where players learn the rules of the game and game play to prepare for the house recreational league. Players committed to a hockey career at the next level can elect to compete at the AA level in the travel hockey league.
Figure skaters have access to hundreds of hours of ice and instruction from internationally acclaimed coaches.
Adult hockey players can participate in the largest program in the state through league play and have access to additional ice time with weekly adult only open hockey and stick time sessions.
The Ice Den Chandler is home to the Coyotes Amateur Hockey Association and its Arizona Bobcats teams, as well as the Desert Ice Skating Club of Arizona. Through these partnerships the facility plays host to USA Hockey and United States Figure Skating Associations tournaments, events and competitions showcasing the best talent in North America and our future stars.
Building amenities include Coyotes Ice Sports, a full service pro shop, 18 Degrees Express, on-site bar and restaurant, the Chilly Bean Café snack bar and dedicated off-ice conditioning space.

Hours of Operation
The Ice Den Chandler is open roughly 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, 363 days a year for the enjoyment of our community.
In some instances the ice schedule will cause an adjustment to standard building, administration, pro shop and restaurant hours. Please check the published calendars to confirm dates and times of events and activities.
ICE SURFACES
The Ice Den Chandler features two NHL regulation ice surfaces:
East Rink
Viewable from 18 Degrees Express, has larger spectator seating area and primarily hosts all High School Hockey
games, Arizona Bobcats practices and games, adult hockey games and figure skating.
West Rink
The West Rink is the site for weekly public skating sessions, adult hockey games, open freestyle sessions, house hockey games and practices and Learn to Skate sessions.

Due to the overwhelming number of requests received from schools and non-profit organizations throughout the year seeking sponsorship and donations, our community relations policy was to support organizations by skating pass donations to charity raffles and auctions or by partnering on skating related fundraisers.
However, at this time our donation request process and fundraiser program remain on indefinite hiatus as our new registration process and software is not set up to accommodate donations. In addition, public skate session frequency has decreased due to the lack of available ice in the valley for ice sports.
We look forward to supporting these initiatives again in the future.
