Adult Open Hockey

Adult Open Hockey is offered weekly for players ages 18 years of age or older and for all skill levels. Open Hockey sessions are designed to give players seeking extra ice time the opportunity to play in a noncompetitive environment.

The maximum number of players allowed per session is 30 players plus four (4) goaltenders.

The Ice Den Chandler strives to maintain consistent times, however seasonal youth camps, hockey tournaments and clinics may disrupt these times. For your convenience, the Ice Den Chandler publishes a monthly open hockey calendar online and on the Ice Den Chandler App.

The schedule is subject to change. In the event a session requires a time change or is cancelled the Ice Den Chandler will make its best effort to notify all registered players with as much advance notice as possible.

Full equipment including a certified hockey helmet is required to participate. For more information regarding equipment, please visit Coyotes Ice Sports or call (480) 598-9400.

Pre-Registered Goalies

To improve the overall quality of our open hockey sessions, the Ice Den Chandler allows goalies to participate for free in adult hockey sessions. Maximum four (4) goalies per session. Goalies must register in advance.

While this does not guarantee goalies, the policy is in place to increase the odds of having goalies present for each session.

Please be advised, due to rising costs of doing business, including but not limited to minimum wage increases and expenses associated with COVID-19 mitigation, effective 8/1/21 Adult Open Hockey &  Adult Stick Time will cost $17 per player per session. Players can save by pre-purchasing Adult Hockey packages.
