All CAHL Chandler leagues and programs are played under the auspices of USA Hockey and all events are played at the Ice Den Chandler.
The Ice Den Chandler, acquired in January 2014, is located on West Harrison Street just east of the I-10 off Ray Road. Building amenities include Coyotes Ice Sports, a full service pro shop, 18° Express on-site bar with Express Eats, the Chilly Bean Café concession style snack bar and dedicated off-ice conditioning space, operated by OrthoArizona.
Through regular captain meetings and communications, the league strives to provide a structure that’s conducive to fair and safe play. Each year, league staff incorporates new rules and procedures that have been adopted by the league and incorporates them into the annual CAHL Player Handbook In addition, divisional parity is also a high priority for the CAHL.
While the league understands the desire for teams to form based on friendships and convenience, it also has a responsibility to make the games competitive. As a result, the CAHL staff does reserve the right to move players or whole teams into more appropriate skill levels if necessary.
In order to provide quality programs, the Chandler Adult Hockey League reserves the right to place all players and teams in appropriate skill divisions. If you have any questions regarding the CAHL, please contact the Commissioner.
New team applications are now being accepted for the 2023 Spring/Summer season for the CAHL Scottsdale and Chandler. Teams will be placed on a waitlist on a first come-first served basis and will be notified if a space opens up in the appropriate skill division. Additional players may be added prior to the start of the season however new teams must have a minimum roster of 10 committed players plus a goalie in order to apply. A non-refundable deposit of equal to one skater+goalie will be required to secure your space if a spot becomes available, deposit may be applied to league fees/Team Fee. Individuals looking to be placed on a team must contact the CAHL Commissioner via email: jnahmias@coyotesice.com or call (480) 598-9400 ext. 106. Based on your skill level and roster availability, we will attempt to place you with an appropriate team.
Roster spots are not guaranteed. The Coyotes Adult Hockey League will do its best to find placement for all new players. Roster placement is determined by the number of open spots, player availability and skill level. Team captains with open roster spots may attend the evaluations to recruit the new players. Teams will contact the CAHL Commissioner, within two weeks of the start of the new season, to fill any new or remaining openings.
Free Agents cannot register for the season until placement on a team is confirmed. Prices may vary per team based on Team Fee or Individual Team selection option. Please be advised, roster space is limited and placement is not guaranteed.
No refunds will be given to a registrant who leaves because of their own desire, fails to attend or is suspended from League participation for any reason. The ONLY exception to the policy is a medical condition preventing a player's ability to play accompanied by a signed physician's note listing the dates of restriction. Refunds will not be awarded for games missed due to illness including but not limited to COVID-19 related illness, exposure, or level of comfort.
PROOF OF REGISTRATION FOR EACH PLAYING SEASON MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH ALL CAHL PROGRAM REGISTRATIONS.
The Coyotes Adult Hockey League is a USA Hockey sanctioned program and require all participants be valid members of USA Hockey prior to participation. USA Hockey requires individuals to secure their membership direct from the USA Hockey website.

Once on file, you will not have to provide proof of USA Hockey membership again until September 1st of the following year.
